Let’s talk about costs

Delivering a package from the U.S. involves several steps, each with its own cost. And while theLink is able to lower some of those costs, others are out of our hands. So let’s take a closer look at the basic costs, along with the potential additional costs.

Basic Costs

Your basic costs are composed of three components, two of which can be estimated with our handy cost calculator.

The Carriers shipping fee — We partner with Air & Sea Carriers to deliver your packages, safe and sound, within 24 to 48 hours. The Carrier fees depend on your package’s “volumetric size”—a fancy calculation that takes into account both size and weight—and the specific destination.

TheLinks handling fee — This fee is per shipment, and you can realize major savings—over US$ 60!—by consolidating up to three packages in a single shipment.

Local duties — Your packages are delivered “DDP” (Delivered Duty Paid), meaning it’s your responsibility to pay any local country duties and our fees upon delivery. These costs vary by country, but there’s also a handy online duty calculator you may want to consult.
